Amazing innovations at Adobe

One of the benefits of working at Adobe is the amount of future technology you get to see and sometimes play with. There is an enormous amount of innovation going on within Adobe and every now and then some of these projects are presented to the general audience. At MAX, we already introduced a bunch a new technology for you to play with and think about. Obviously, we are working on a lot more and in this post I want to introduce two amazing projects: “Interactive Video Object Manipulation” and “Zoetrope”.

Just about 2 weeks ago, our video research lab also introduced “Interactive Video Object Manipulation”. This takes motion tracking to a whole new level.

This week, Technology Review got a preview of Zoetrope. If I had to describe it, I would call it “Time Machine for the web”. Don’t you sometimes wish that you could turn back the time? You know you saw an article on a particular site some time ago, but it’s not there now. How can you find it again? With Zoetrope, you can turn back time on that site and even link other sites and data to it.
