Innovation Mecom developed a simulation for training and marketing of Carina, a medical device. The application is built on top of the Flash Platform using ActionScript3.0 and simulates all the functions of the actual device. Because they chose the Flash Platform the same application can run in the browser, as a standalone application and on multiple devices. Check out this video for a demonstration of the app running on a variety of devices.
Flash on!

Do you have any information on how they created the versions for iPhone and iPad? Is that actually AS3 based? Perhaps they used something like ELIPS and either got it through the Apple approval process OK or the app isn’t actually published on the App Store (the opening shot suggests this was just a feasibilty study). All this x-platform authoring is obviously a hot topic right now. Do you have any more info?
Thanks,
J
@JC: They used the Packager For iPhone which is still in Flash CS5. I have no info on whether or not they submitted it to the app store.
