You probably know Grant Skinner from all his amazing Flash work. Recently Grant has been experimenting a lot with HTML5 and he also worked on PiratesLoveDaisies.com, a tower defense game built with HTML5 and Javascript. At FITC in Amsterdam I asked him about his experiences with HTML5 and his thoughts on the HTML5 vs Flash “war”.

More Molehill goodness

Another fantastic example demonstrating the power of Molehill. In this video Eugene Zatepyakin produced a special shader to control the light in an AR 3D scene using a real world lightmap from his ASFEAT 3D engine.

Molehill can also be used for 2D projects. Terry Paton recorded his findings in this video:

At last week’s FITC in Amsterdam I recorded a bunch of interviews. Over the next couple of days I’ll be posting these on my blog. The first interview is one with Unity 3D’s Tom Higgins. Tom is a developer evangelist at Unity 3D and actually used to work for Macromedia on Director… Small world ;-)
