MAX EU discount code expires today!

This is just a friendly reminder. My MAX Europe discount code is expiring today. So, if you haven’t registered yet and want to save €240 on your ticket, today is your last chance.

Did I already say that MAX 2008 is going to rock? I think I did ;-) Man, I wish I could tell you about all the cool stuff we plan on revealing during the keynotes and sneak peak sessions. Last night, I read some draft press releases that I wish I could publish today. I tell ya, there’s one serious disadvantage with being this close to the source. It’s damn hard not to accidentally talk about all this awesome stuff. As a reminder, I just want to mention again that MAX US is not going to have all the announcements this year. MAX Europe will also have some big announcements and sneak peaks!

I’m starting my 13 hour trip in a few hours and will be at the Moscone center tomorrow. I’ll take some behind the scenes pictures and record some video that I will post this weekend. So stay tuned!

MAX 2008 is just around the corner

Believe me… Time really flies and before you know it, MAX 2008 is just around the corner. I am particularly excited about this year’s MAX conference and I’m pretty sure you’re all filled with anticipation to see what this year’s announcements are going to be and which sneak peaks we are going to show. I know the MAX-EU-team is still in the process of finalizing the program for Milan but that should go online pretty soon. However, looking at the sessions for San Francisco should give you a pretty good idea on the sessions in Milan.

I can already tell you that I’ll be doing both a session on “Creative design for Flex applications” which will talk about workflows between Creative Suite and Thermo and I’ll be teaming up with NJ for a 90-minute hands-on lab on the same topic. I’m also pretty excited to be able to do this session and lab both in San Francisco and Milan.

We’ve just opened registrations for MAX Milan… So if you want to take advantage of the early bird discount (€120 discount), you might as well book your ticket right now.

onAIR tour part 2 almost sold out / 26 days to go

At this moment there are only 37525 minutes left for you to register for the second leg of the onAIR tour. That’s 26 days before we start travelling from northern to southern Europe. In case you forgot, we are doing this onAIR tour by train and there are some pretty challenging routes we have to take this time. We start in Stockholm on June 2nd and end in Milan on June 13th. I don’t know if my evangelist buddies have already seen this but our first train ride, from Stockholm to Berlin, is going to be 15 hours. Our train-ride from Madrid to Paris was a good rehearsal but this one is even longer. I’m already stacking up on extra batteries etc and I’m gonna make sure my 3G card works. Maybe we should carry a power generator on the train so we don’t run out of juice :-)

I remember that in one of his videos, Lee Brimelow says that “Europe isn’t that big”. I’m pretty sure he’s gonna change that statement by the end of this tour.

Again looking forward to this tour… We are visiting some really beautiful cities, some of which I’ve never been to myself. We’re doing Stockholm, Berlin, Warsaw, Prague, Munich and Milan. If you weren’t aware of this yet, we are also giving away a bunch of goodies and for the second part of the tour we’re getting everyone a copy of the Adobe AIR for JavaScript Developers book and a copy of the RIA ActionScript 3 printed reference guide. They weren’t ready in time to take on the first leg but don’t worry if you came to the first part of the tour, you’ll receive an email soon with details on how you can get them as well. In the meantime, you can download these books.

Get a nice thick marker, open your agenda or flip your calendar to December 1st and write down “MAX Europe in Milan, Italy”.
